I just got done watching the Fellowship of the Ring with my mom... now I know how Sam felt when he took me to see the Hobbit. He spent the whole movie sitting next to me, narrating the entire thing and filling in details you wouldn't know from just watching the movie the first time. I didn't really mind though, it was kinda cute.
We started the movie at around 7:30, so for those of you who've seen the extended version, you know that it's a ridiculously long movie. I don't think my mom realized how long it was, because at the end of part one, she said," What? There's no end to this movie. I've been watching this movie for two hours and there's no ending." ........ "Mom, that's part one. I told you these were long."
Watching the movie again reminded me of how many scenes I absolutely love from that movie and how many scenes hit you right in the feels.
Even after watching this movie for I think the fourth time, I still can't choose a favorite character. Merry and Pippin are so adorably funny, but Aragorn such a badass, but then there's Legolas who's just.... well, Legolas. I mean seriously, how could you choose between these two?
My mom was disappointed with the cliffhanger ending at the end of the Fellowship od the Ring, so we're probably going to be watching the second movie tomorrow. These are her predictions:
1. Gandalf is going to come back and turn evil.
2. Sam is going to turn evil.
She reads my blog so no spoilers.
