Day Fifty

I'm feeling rather uninspired today. I mean, it's International Women's Day, but I feel like the point of the holiday isn't about love, it's about basic rights, and I really do want to keep this blog relevant the the theme I started with. I'm leaving to cover a story in around a half an hour, so I might write my post about that when I get back, if I don't just pass out (I haven't been getting much sleep the past few days).  If not, it'll be one of those days when my update will come the next morning.

I'm not exactly sure what the event is about that I'm covering, but I hope it's something that I can get passionate about (or at the very least, something love related). The very worst case is, I tell you all about how much I love the Voodoo doughnuts I'm going to be eating afterwards. :)

Five hours later....

Turns out the event was a feminist anti "Rape Culture" event. Because I don't want to discuss my (or any) political/social views on the topic on this blog, I've decided not to talk about the event.
