First though, I just want to say - best girl's night ever! I'm so glad I went with the group of friends I did. I'm also glad we got floor seats (well, not really "seats" because everyone was up and dancing, not sitting). Just so you know, this post is going to be mostly pictures and videos since I want to share the music with you.
Icona Pop was fantastic for an opening band - I wish more people would've come early to see them perform because they were definitely worth showing up early for, even though I knew only one of their songs. I didn't even realize who it was until they sang this:
Needless to say, I rocked out. I feel like it's nearly impossible not to.
After Icona Pop, Matt and Kim came on and let me tell you, besides their music, they are an awesome couple. You could tell just by how they interacted on stage that they have a great relationship. Kudos to them for having such a successful career.
I also want to give some major kudos to Kim for being a badass. Not only is she a great drummer, but damn does that girl have stage presence! She was on top of her drumsets stomping and throwing her drumsticks out to the crowd and despite having a twisted ankle, she walked out into the crowd's hands. She didn't just stand there, no, she rocked out, dancing and shaking her ass like a boss.

Of course they ended on their most popular song (which also happened to be the first song I bought on my Ipod)
Before I start on Passion Pit's music, I just want you to know my love for that band. Whenever I listen to music, it's their Pandora radio station. They rival Imagine Dragons when it comes to my favorite band, and after last night, it's pretty evenly matched. Armed with that information, you can imagine how excited I was when I heard about the concert, then scored floor seats, then actually got to see the band walk out on stage. I completely lost any sense of dignity and danced like the fangirl I am.
I just want to share with you my favorite songs that they played last night
